Meet Dr. Cunningham- Owner of WDG

Dr. Cunningham is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Upon receiving his DDS degree, Dr. Cunningham served in the US Air Force Dental Corps for 2 years before returning to Central Ohio to practice general dentistry and teach clinical dentistry at OSU. He then entered a residency program at OSU in the dental specialty of Prosthodontics. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Cunningham continued his private practice with emphasis on Implant Prosthodontics, Advanced Restorative, and Cosmetic Procedures.

A prosthodontist is a dentist who has completed a three-year specialty program after earning a DDS degree. During specialty training, the dentist spends 100% of his time mastering prosthodontic skills and treating patients. Prosthodontics is one of the nine specialties in dentistry. As the name implies, a prosthodontist is highly skilled at creating a dental prosthesis to replace or reconstruct missing or severely damaged teeth.
