Occlusion / TMJ Disorders (Bite Problems)

The dentists at Worthington Dental Group will evaluate your dental occlusion (bite), to determine if you have a malocclusion or problem with your bite. Many patients experience discomfort in the tempromandibular joint (TMJ), which can result from a bite problem, or the habit of clenching or grinding their teeth (buxism). There is a wide range of treatments for a TMJ disorder, including adjusting your bite and designing a dental appliance, sometimes called a bite plane. The diagnosis and recommendation for treatment will be discussed with you.
