Update 11/25/20

Update 6/11/2020

Our top priority is our patients’ and staffs’ health and safety! We are in unchartered waters during this pandemic and taking every precaution to protect all who walk into our office. We have been humbled by the feedback of our patients recognizing our efforts. Please enjoy some of our patient’s thoughts below:

The Worthington Dental Group was genuinely concerned about my well-being & the well-being of its employees. Health precautions were outstanding. And the expertise of the hygienist & doctor in their skills sets them apart. My dental care is important to me & I trust this practice with my needs.

I came in to receive a cleaning and retainer tune up. Everyone was so attentive and careful, as always and more so!

Simple safe check-in. waiting room chairs nicely distanced. completely safe treatment. and friendly staff.

Great experience overall, as usual! I was greeted with a very welcoming and professional COVID-19 screening associate. And as always, I was pleased to experience the courtesy and smiling faces upon checking in. The Hygienist (Cassidy or Chasity, I’m sorry I do not recall) was the highlight of my visit where she displayed her professionalism, skills, and recommendations that made me feel very comfortable and confident. I was a little concerned about one staff member whose interactions with another customer and other staff members that caught my attention while I was waiting for the Hygienist to greet me. It was then, and at time I approached her to pay for my services that I assumed that she must have been having a bad day.

Update 5/15/2020

We have been filled with so many emotions welcoming our staff and patients back to WDG! Feelings of gratitude, hopefulness, and preparedness.

As you may or may not know, Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health reopened medical and dental offices on May 1st. We are so pleased to be open once again and to welcome you back into the office. Dr. Cunningham has a message for you on the status of our 1st two weeks back in the office.

Our team is working very hard to keep all of you safe. You might not recognize them in their additional Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, including N95 masks, head coverings, and face shields. But they are the same, terrific healthcare professionals! Each treatment room is disinfected, equipment sanitized, and instruments sterilized between every appointment. Seating in the reception area is arranged to create safe distancing. Everyone’s temperature is taken upon arrival and a COVID-19 questionnaire is completed. Appointment times are staggered to minimize the number of people arriving at the same time. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we adjust to all of the changes here.

As we conclude the 2nd week of our reopening, we are truly humbled by the positive feedback from patients.

We would like to share some of their comments with you:

Anne B. 5/14/20 : I was so pleased to see all the steps the office is taking to make the office sterile and safe!

Annetta D. 5/13/20 : Everyone was so kind and listened to me. Thank you glad I’m a new patient. Stay safe.

Frank S. 5/7/20 : I noted and appreciate the efforts to make me feel safe and comfortable.

William L. 5/6/20 : Very pleasant experience. Unsure of what to expect, but was made to feel at ease throughout the appointment.

Tricia 5/5/20 : Very clean, took extra precautions, even had my temp taken before I was allowed in for my appointment. Still very good spirits there.

Update 4/30/2020

Worthington Dental Group is pleased to be opening on Monday, May 4th. The Ohio Health Department and Governor Dewine recognize the necessity for all healthcare services to be available to the citizens of Ohio. The ODH and Gov. Dewine understand the level of sterilization and infection control that is already in place in dental offices. In response to COVID-19, additional layers of protection are being recommended by The American Dental Association. Our office will exceed the recommendations to protect our team and our patients.
